Charteris has a strong and close working relationship with Microsoft, and is both a Gold Partner and a Managed Partner, a combination that is impressive for a business of our size. Only Microsoft Certified Partners who have applied for and been through a rigorous approval process may become a Gold Partner.
In addition to being a Microsoft Certified Gold Partner we are also a "strategic partner" with Microsoft Business Solutions (MBS), specifically around the MBS Dynamics solutions.
We have partnered with Microsoft in delivering some of their key development projects in the UK over the last six years. Such implementations include the highly successful UK Government Gateway project for the Office of the eEnvoy, the Criminal Justice System Exchange pilot for the Home Office and the National Tax Credits System for the Inland Revenue.
We have worked with Microsoft Research in helping them to develop the next generation of the technology, a position which affords us an extremely rare understanding of what technologies are emerging and how they could benefit an organisation. In addition to our collaboration on the above projects, we have also worked with Microsoft's Patterns and Practices group in the US. In the UK, we have close ties with internal User Experience Community at Microsoft and have worked in the Microsoft Technology Centre at Reading on Proof-Of-Concept projects.
Microsoft regularly invite Charteris to participate in their Technology Access Programmes which provide a small number of organisations globally with the earliest possible access to the next releases of the technology.
